education including both formal degrees and continuing education. I am a graduate of the accredited North

Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Construction Management and Safety program.

Following graduation I have worked in both residential and commercial construction for 10+ years in

increasingly responsible positions. My work experience includes cost engineering, pay request processing

and project scheduling of approximately $200M as an engineer for Hensel Phelps Construction Co. at the

Miami International Airport (MIA) South Terminal Expansion and Improvements program. Currently, I am

the Project Engineer on the AECOM Program Management team managing over $150M in projects under the

Air Capital Terminal 3 (ACT3) Airport Expansion program and New Terminal Building construction project

at the Wichita Eisenhower Airport (flywichita.com). I was an initial team hire, and was primarily responsible

for project scope definitions and estimates and program scheduling of over fifty projects including, the New

Terminal Building and System Integrator project, and Owner staff and stakeholders reporting for analysis.

During my over ten year career, my management experience has involved multiple project activities,

supervising numerous contractor disciplines, and working within major time and resource pressures. With a

strong academic background, I have been committed to continuing my education by distance learning to

improve my job skills and managerial capabilities while working full‐time; completed my Master of

Information Systems degree in 2012. I have continued to develop specific business / technical skills by

enrolling in and completing a series of program certificates and other ambitious learning listed on my resume.

I am seeking a position that requires analytical and communication skills, quick thinking, and a solid

understanding of the main principles of business, management, engineering, and architecture of various

information systems. To prepare and qualify for that position, I have worked in both residential and

commercial construction for 10+ years in increasingly responsible Project Controls positions including, over

four years as lead SharePoint Admin and systems design, systems user trainer, web design (voluntarily

assisted as an admin/designer on the flywichita.com website), and experience with emerging technologies.

I have the professional and technical skills for constructive problem solving with applications such as MS

SharePoint, MS Access and MS Excel (as a business intelligence tool) and Cloud storage (Box.Com) with

interface and project data integration.

To enhance my skills for my current position and to prepare for future career goals and opportunities, I have

recently completed DePaul University’s two most popular “Big Data” Certificate Programs. Majority of my

continuing education is relevant to Project Management and Data Science concepts which include, Business

Analytics, Cassandra, Mongo DB, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL Databases, Programming with R, etc. The

opportunity to complete these courses in particular were challenging, educational, and the chance for me to

learn new things and get the very best education available while continuing a full time work schedule.
